Some idiot asked for my Mum by name, when I asked why he wanted to speak with her he said she d been in a car accident and was due compensation. I pointed out that she died in 2009 and had never driven a car in her life! The only connection between my mum s name and my phone number is from when I dealt with her insurance company after she died.

Automated voise message saying they are from "HMRC" and apparently I have a "tax fraud case against my name" and I'm to press 1 to be connected to the officer dealing with the case. Failure to press 1 or if the call does not connect will mean "I will be arrested shortly. Definitely did not press 1!

When you try to call back, you have an Asian female who just giggles and will not state which company she is calling from. But when I visited the site other day, I saw a response from the company responsible for those calls and it promised to stop calling if I call their grievance cell at 02036300278.
