Claimed to be from Talk Talk. Knew my name and number. Scammer wanted me to install software on my computer to fix security issues. Called Talk Talk back and the one operator I was talking to had heard the same story times by lunchtime today.
this company just phoned me. a lady with an accent told me i had a blockchain account. i said i would check online, she got irritated. i told her she was a scammer, she got more irritated. i put the phone down. Dont give these people any personal information.

BT are just a bunch of fraudsters as well and will do nothing to prevent these nuisance calls as are the Government and Offcom. Another valid point is that when someone states on their merchandise "STOPS UP TO 99% OF NUSIANCE CALLS" I would suggest that 1% is up to 99% and they should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act.

I refused to confirm any details or give a reference number (I don t have one - I ve never heard of them till yesterday). I ve been contacted in the past by debt collectors looking for Steven Griffiths (who isn t me) so I assume this is what this is about. The guy wouldn t continue the call so I advised I would be blocking them.
