at this point a misdial from a local number, in which case no harm done I don't use my landline except for internet connections and never answer it if it rings. If this number rings again I will block the number. If it was someone I knew they would have my mobile number and know to use it.

SCAM received several phone calls via WhatsApp demanding payment for providing a service befor anything would be done. Lady admitted was of German origin and was ringing from Bournemouth. Payment was to be via PayPal or Amazon gift cards only, on refusal became more aggressive.

ISP scam from India. Man from Openreach said that my internet connection had been used for illegal activity and they would disconnect me. Obvious scam. I played dumb for a bit and eventually the guy gave up and disconnected the call.

Asked me to give six number code sent to me in SMS from Amazon - This was my two step verification code to change my password. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!!
