A time waster, pretend number, sometimes shows in one phone with caller i.d. but as international on another. They recycle numbers. The other is 01525 839582 so don't bother answering that either.
Asian/Indian sounding man rang at 6pm 15/01/18 and wanted to know if I had received my local Comet paper in the past few weeks. Stupidly I though it odd but as he mentioned my local paper I presumed genuine. I told him I hadn't received any. He then checked the street name with me and mumbled a house number which I couldn't distinguish. I didn't give him my house number but confirmed the street. Having tried to ring the number this morning it is not valid and now reading these posts I can see it is a scam.
