Asian person said he was from the Telephone Preference Service. Had my surname and flat no/postcode. Said they can stop scammers calling - know that the TPS cannot do this with numbers that may look like UK nos but are routed from Asia. He started to ask whether I still paid by Direct Debit (TPS is free!!!) so told him I didn t want to speak to him and hung up.

Number called mobile. Do not answer to unknown numbers and as not my shopping number no one should have details. Called three times.

I didnt answer call - i have completed many online surveys and polls recently giving my mobile number but not agreeing to be contacted on it! I believe this call to be related these surveys and will continue to ignore them and block them uf neccesary!

Number was marked London - Girl called with a very strong Manchester accent. Didn’t speak at first. Asked her what the call was in regards too.. Apparently I have over paid on car finance? I asked her to remove my number - She stated something about being a liar - I asked what she had just called me to which she replied that she was speaking to her colleague - I replied that it wasn’t very professional. It seems the criminals, who obtained personal information as a result of leaked information from Talk Talk, are telling people their broadband service is likely to be closed down after 24 hours. It is rubbish. I did not answer the call, and got my information from other sites.
