Umpteen calls from this number early am, and evenings included. I emailed the company and they replied asking for the numbers I want removing from their automated call system. Let s see if that work!
Received many calls from same number but just the last digit changes. It is an automated message saying that they are HMRC and that a tax fraud claim is made against me, that I should press 1 and talk to a representative otherwise I will be arrested shortly. It is so annoying as to how they get my number, i have had so many unsolicitored calls recently. Who is selling my information, I am so carefull in completing any online applications with my sensitive details?

This is the UK version of a scam running amok in the US. The supposed company, microsoftechs.com, contacts people and claims there is an issue with their computer. The claim to be partnered with Microsoft and gain confidence with all the classic scam talk. I did not recognize this number, so I decided to let it go to voicemail. Needless to say they did not leave a message. Looking at the previous comments, it was the correct thing to do by ignoring the call. My motto is ... if it is important/legit then they will leave a message.
