SCAM Claimed to be Amazon but not the usual automated call. Very sincere and in-depth call!!! Knew my phone number, name and email address (although not the one linked to my Amazon account!!Said my prime membership was going to now be £39 a month not £79 a year. I hung up (still not convinced it was a scam but thought they’d email me or cut off my account if not and then I’d sort it) and called Amazon who confirmed it was a phishing phone call!! Be careful

I got a call from this number today and it s *DEFINITELY* a scam that s cynically intended to mess up your PC and then charge you on your credit card to fix a problem which didn t exist in the first place.
