Went to voicemail, no message left. Who calls me site indicated 129 previous searches on this number yet no comments.
SCAM prerecorded message accusing of tax fraud. Sensing a scam I hung up before hearing more and went to search for who the number came from but found nothing.

Lots of annoying calls .
SCAM This is a scam operation. An older lady calls to tell you that they have confirmed advertising space in local hospital/ school publication. These publications don't exist. They invoice and use factoring companies. We were stung for around £250 previously. Not heard from them in a couple of years so they've obviously started up again. Just hang up.

They cold-call phoned me about renewal of insurance on kitchen white goods. They needed some banking details to alter the payment paperwork because they were giving me a no-claims discount. Knew enough about me to make this plausible. I 'needed to go to an appointment' [actually true] so I had to ask them to phone back tomorrow - which they were readily willing to do. Call from man with Indian accent - "your contract with Three is coming to an end". Me: "could you remind me of the number" - "the what?" - "the contract number" and he hung up. I think it's fair to say he was up to no good. And judging by the street view below, the number is likely spoofed as I can't see a boiler room operation going on in a highland village.

I had a call to say my gas meter engineer was in an accident and had to rearrange for next week. Strangely I had a call from the engineer 15 minutes later to say he was on his way and knew nothing of an accident. I can't help but feel suspicious .
