Identified as Your Mortgage Review Intimidating mature lady caller encouraging me to change my mortgage to one with a lesser interest rate given that we re in a climate of low interest rates.. She started off with little information on me but I did tell her my current lender. Then questioned me as to why I am staying with them given that they re charging such high interest. I was called by this number this morning. They told me they were calling regarding my licence from MICROSOFT being lapsed. They told me they would be able to renew my licence and could show me how to remove hackers from my laptop. I allowed these people access to my laptop thinking I was removing the hackers and viruses from the laptop. They gained access to my files and I have had money removed from my bank account (now closed).

Number was 0151 281 5034, Liverpool, England. Said they were from HMRC and if I didn’t press 1 to continue with call, a warrant would be issued in my name. I hung up. If they were genuinely from HMRC they would not call you like this. I hate to think what would have happened if I had continued with the call, obviously trying to scam me for money. Please don’t fall for this. PUT THE PHONE DOWN.
