Caller launched straight into his sales script - something about energy efficiency double glazing, so I hung up. He called straight back so I hung up again without speaking. Called back third time so I told him politely that we do not accept unsolicited calls & my number is registered with TPS . Therefore he should not be calling, and please don’t call again. He wasn’t listening but continued with his script regardless whilst I was talking. Then told me to “Shut my F*****g mouth up” And hung up.

Had this number call a few times, yes it's part of Halifax but it's one of many of their areas - it could be birmingham midshires mortgage. It's not a scam. The reason you can't call the number back is it's a number set up not to accept incoming calls - many banks/mortgage companies etc have them now adays. Received a text message from this number allegedly about a delivery by EVRI - as I am expecting a delivery (from DHL) I precipitately clicked on the link which read; EVRI(UK10094786). Out of curiosity I navigated to the EVRI website and entered a combination of the above and the full set. EVRI did not recognize it any of it.
