Dodgy sounding robot voice threating to arrest me for tax fraud if i didn't press 1. Hung up. suspected scam

this company just rang and rang and rang, even when i asked them why they were calling me 4-5 times each day the caller just laughed and hung up - i just blocked the number after a few days had enough of the rude callers.

This number keeps ringing me and asking for a Mrs Fox, who is not me! When I tell them this, they then go on to ask me if I am entitled to a new boiler and they need my details,...

Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. This company are making unsolicited calls. I have received one this morning and when I challenged the caller the call was terminated from their end. The number I was called on is listed with the telephone preferrence service.

When I answered, an Indian man asked me how I was! Said he was from Perfect Preferences and told me it wasn t a sales call. Quoted my name, phone number and address and asked me to confirm them. I told him I wouldn t as I didn t know who I was talking to. He asked for two minutes of my time and when I told him No he banged the phone down.

BT technical department scam! Had him going for awhile! Lol!

Cold call claiming to be following up a our windows 10 year warranty and would like to inspect tried to force app time I did not accept then they connected again to try another time before agreed time . Now I consider this a scam BEWARE.
