It is a scam. This number was used to call me to say someone had fraudulently ordered a £750 i phone from Amazon and I should press a digit on my phone to be put through to someone who could help me. Checked my acct and nothing amiss.

SCAM this number purported to be from PENSIONS Direct. It was a recorded message saying all advisors were busy. I expect we will get the scam part of the call next!

Called me to say there was a job available and put me through to another number who was going to give me details of the role. I was then contacted by a Carlo by WA with a pic of a woman The role was too good to be true, 30 mins a day, remote working for an unbelievable sum of money I told them I needed to think about it and they should give me more time to think about until next week. Automated call stating that £300 & £1,100 had been taken from my card. “Press 1 to cancel”. I pressed 1 to try and find out who was calling. Was told by a guy with a foreign accent that the call was from London Paddington. He asked the reason for my call and then asked for my full name. At that point I put down the phone and registered this number. Obviously this was a fraudulent call.

Saying that was from Virgin Media, asking to access my computer because my landline was corrupted. It was the 4th call today, different numbers but same story and each time they hang up when I told them I am recording the conversations. I had this type of phone call before and I checked with virgin media and they said is fraud, do not give any information because they do not contact customers with such matter.
