Just received a call from this number with recording claiming to be from BT(internet) re suspicious activity in my line. Only suspicious activity is the cretins doing these scams.

Claimed to be a debt help agency. Asked for my father by name (he passed away over years ago). Man with a local (Glagow) accent, dialling code shows as Argentina. Have reported to police and BT. Crooks and conmen all.

Repeated, fairly local-to-me, caller who just wont get the message that I am not interested in discussing a phone contract which is NOT mine (they have now been told three times) to discuss with them. I think that they do not believe me, as I can literally hear them "glaze over" and mark my number down for repeat call another time. This latest time- less than 24 hours later.
Claim to be from O2, then ask me what network I was currently with, Reply : if you really are with O2 then you would already know which network I am with, Goodbye and blocked.

Caller told me he was phoning about "the accident I have had" - Clearly cold calling. Could be distressing for older people. Tried to call them back and spent ages on hold with no answer.

Called me today (28 April). "David" gave me the usual spiel about 'they have been receiving messages for the last two weeks from my computer that it is infected' (or somesuch). I gave them my usual reply about having to talk to my IT consultant, and could they give me a number to ring back. (At this point he rang off, as these jokers usually do.) Given collective knowledge about these people I have no hesitation in marking it 'dangerous'

I followed a discount code link for Dominos pizza. My payment didn't go through & I received an automated call from "Santander fraud department" tel no 0800 640 6114. I tried to pay with my TSB card, again payment was declined & I immediately received an automated call from "TSB fraud line on this no 0345 3511 688. Clearly a scam. Just used the same card straight after on Amazon with no issue.
