Received a text message pretending to be from WhatsApp. Apparently my number was going to be transferred in 24 hours. They gave me the option to call a Premium Rate phone number to query it. The number given was 0902 394 1410. I checked Who-Called.co.uk for info and found lots of people were being scammed with very similar numbers. DO NOT RING THIS NUMBER! If you dial it you will be charged a ridiculously high rate. One person had a charge of £5.50 added to their account for only a 15 second call... THIS IS

The numbers trace back to a hosting company called Voxlogic. I gave them a call today (0333 002 0000) and spoke to the support team and explained my situation. The man at the other end checked all the various numbers beginning with 0843 724... and said the are registered to a company called Money Help Marketing.
