They phoned me saying they were from BT and trying to stop marketing calls (Like a kind of international Telephone Preference Service) and tried to get get my card details out of me. They read out my name and address to me then asked for the expiration date on my debit card so they could "verify" my details. I gave them a false one. They then asked for the "Reference" number of the card the big number along the top. I asked them to verify my BT account number (I m on Virgin Media) but they did nit see

Male Asian accent claimed that was investigating fraudulent purchase of phone from e-bay in my name in California USA. Do I have connection there? If no, have I checked my bank ...

This number keeps calling my mobile then hangs up then it rang my parents house asking for me, Something very dodgy about this number

Think it s a new number/variant of the UK Tax scam.

Looks like a bogus caller. No answer when picked up.

Phoned my mobile twice in 45 minutes, so it must have been important that they contact me, but they never left a voicemail which makes me think it must be a scam company cold calling. Yes, cold calling as I never ask companies to contact me.

I have been called 3 times in the last week and have no idea who it is as they never leave a voicemail if i let it ring out.

Unwanted call from I talk telecom. Although call was from Chesterfield I am doubtful. Was going to check my line to see if I was receiving the best deal on my telephone service. Cut the call there and then. So no idea what was going to happen then.

Call from the number: 07938536820 A Guy called Steven- Asking for bank information, how much I made at work. Asking irrelevant questions asking if I smoke/had a sky package yet knew about a bank loan. Avoid and 101 have been made aware Pretending to be from citizens advice

When phoned back a message said the number was not in service. So either they don t want to accept calls, or they re spoofing the number in the first place.

Amazon Prime Scam Call.

Really bad this one, they were watching their web traffic, saw that someone from our company s IP range was looking at photocopiers and phoned us to ask who it was. No clue why they thought that was a good idea. Their website is http://www.simple.scot

Had this number calling me every day about the same time for the last few days. Each time I have been unable to get to my phone on time, but I finally did a quick search and I wouldn t trust it (or any other number of the likes) I am due for an O2 upgrade in a few weeks, so I assume from previous comments that this is the reason why they are trying to contact me.

Received automated call on 11 Nov 2016 at 8:59. Female voice with Indian accent said "I am ... calling from BT and it is about your broadband line". I said I knew she was not from BT and she hung up. This scam has been going on for several days. It appears to be a spoof number, you cannot call back.

Persistent calls to my mobile which I am not answering as i am currently not in UK. This company are ignoring the fact that my mobile is registered with Telephone preference service to avoid marketing calls.

This number has called my mobile 3 times today and on each occasion it hung up after 2 rings. I checked it out on Internet before calling back and lo, its a bloody scam selling something I don t want - so I haven t called them back.
