Call from "Domestic Appliances" claiming that due to our claim-free record we are due a major discount. When quizzed on insurance account numbers we were given a random account number and an account start date which pre-dated our arrival in the town. When asked for the address of the account we were given an alternative address in the town.

Received a call from this number and listening to the message can understand why people fall for this. The message advises that HMRC wish to speak with you and it may be in your interest to appoint a Solicitor. Then asks that you call back. I called back and an Asian male answered with "This is Her Majesties Revenue Control, how can I help you" I hung up. Who is this? Seems to be some general call centre with range of numbers, I have found more numbers from the same range reported by another people on different similar pages, so I assume this should be the same call centre. Mostly reported as accident chasers - insurance marketing. I would recommend to block the whole 1513759xxx range... Does someone have more info for these numbers?
