The first number was probably spoofed also, as I have international calls barred. The caller had a thick foreign accent and I did not understand everything that was said. HMRC will NEVER call you. This scam has been around for a long time.

Having registered for no telemarketing calls some 16 months ago these pests will not stop. I ve reported them countless times to no avail. There staff are very rude. Avoid like the plague.
