I received an automated call about some money taken from my card. If I wanted to learn more press 1 they requested. The call was from Nakhichevan Russian Federation - I never had any connection with this part of world. Must be a fraud?!

16.9.22 - Phone rang at 8.30pm - did not answer and they did not leave a message. Assumed it was a scam call and have blocked it.

Said they were from my bank (did not name bank) stating they have blocked a transaction of £600 from western union. Asked me to click a button so I hung up! Dangerous bank scam !!!

Scam caller - claimed to be from Virgin. I kept them on the line for a while then when I told them I was aware they were a scammer they immediately became very abusive. Vulnerable people could be taken in.

Possible life Insurance scam, someone called me about life insurance and that terms had changed and i should move my policy to one of their others as i may not get any payout at the end of policy,they knew insurance provider, name d.o.b address,,this may well be real but i was not taking a chance as they sounded asian ( Sorry if this offends but most scammers seem to be asian etc,) ended call and blocked number, im sure my insurance company woud send me a letter advising me anyway.

Received a call today 21.6.22 at 13:15. Recorded message purporting to be Visa regarding to possible acts of fraud against my debit card. 1 x £1000 and 1 x £300. This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. Be safe everyone.
