Like all the other comments, this was a recorded message claiming to be from Inland Revenue (I should have smelled a rat immediately at that point - it s HMRC now...) and that I was being sued. Brain not in gear, and in panic, dialled 1, but silence at the other end, then call terminated. I am now so angry. Hasting Direct staff must sell details onto this company, when I challenged the caller he said false information must have been passed onto them. My car was crashed into but it was parked up with nobody inside at the time, the caller refused to believe me calling me a liar and demanded I go for a medical! It s disgusting that a solicitors is so aggressive in trying to get you to break the law by lying, they should be closed down.

Had the same experience as the previous review. Spoke to representative who advised me my computer had been compromised. I asked him for my IP address and he gave me a made up one. Total scam

As with most other comments, single ring then hung up. Did not call back. Weird thing was, this call came in on my company mobile, the number for which is only given out to colleagues and a few family members. I ve never used it to sign up for anything so no idea how they got it. Assume auto dialler?
