Asked if I was still the owner of a car and read out a registration number. I asked who they were and she said they were the manufacturer trying to contact me about a recall; I told them to write to me and she said they had but I hadn't replied. Then asked for my email so they could send me a Customer Satisfaction Survey about the call. I didn't believe them as I keep getting these calls fishing for information so I don't answer anything personal.

Chap called Martin called me and said I have been involved in an accident and asked him which company he was calling me from and he said AMS NATIONWIDE registered with ministry of justice claims regulation CRM number CRM . I told him it ilegal unsolicited
This number seems to be used by some call centre - I can see very similar numbers reported, all the same range just with last digits different. A common thing - telemarketing mostly uses a range of similar numbers. This one is mostly reported with PPI, insurance marketing, RTA - accident chasers, sometimes called themselves "First Call Group" - just another big call centre. Just block it or block the range, I have been using the mobile application from these pages, works fine, no problems. Blocked
