While wishing to remind patients of appointments, and thus cut down on missed appointments, they also wish to protect people's data so cannot simply leave a message on an answerphone which may be accessed by people other than the person to whom they are addressing. Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. call to my mobile from 01484 477 673 on 22nd March 2021. Apparently if I don't press 1 to connect to HMRC representative with regards to my fraudulent activities I will be arrested immediately! i had a call like this from another number 2 weeks ago... still sitting here waiting to be arrested! I know that HMRC do not make calls such as these and it took a few seconds for the call to connect when answered. I hung up and blocked the number.
