This number 01730267591 was used to make an automated call to my land line. The call claimed to be from BT saying that they were going to cut off my internet that day (05/11/2018). It asked me to press 1 to keep my internet service. As I am not a BT customer and have had similar calls before I put the phone down but I am concerned that other people could be scammed.
Automated call from “my internet service provider” stating that illegal activity has been detected on my account and my service would be disconnected within 24-48 hours….Then gave me a load of options…press 1, press 2…etc presumably to get me to speak to someone so that they could access money in some form or other. Accident claim company - even though no accident. Hung up when I mentioned TPS.
Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.
Don't recognise number just know it's a Gloucester number declined and ignored.

Guy spoke -very fast- perfect English. Claimed to work for Connect / Openreach / Plusnet and wants to save me 35%. I always put the phone down on such charitable calls from unknown individuals.
Received a call on my mobile from this number but nobody on the line when I accepted the call. When I called back I received a message saying that it was a non-existent number.
Fraudsters. Eastern european. I can't even write here the things they were telling me over the phone. They are completely out of line. Report them.
