Scam - purporting to be from Visa regarding. This number is 'unrecognised' by BT.
Pretending to be from Virgin Media Cyber security department, informing me that there is someone in California using my IP address for illegal purposes, but he would help me sort it out. Refused to tell me the name on the account or the account number because it was a recorded call, having told me it was a secure line and that he would "prove" to me that he was from Virgin if I gave him the information he asked for.

Lady with Indian accent very polite introduced herself and said she was calling from Lifestyles. Asked about my housing, had my postcode - which I didn't like ended the call. Getting fed up with this number calling us. Obviously some sort of Asian call center using a UK phone number as a relay. Callers are abrupt and rude when asked politely for name and reason for call. Callers offering mild threats if we do not listen and hangs up after a while. Added to our black list but number keeps changing slightly.

SCAM - Indian-sounding gentleman. Claimed to be from "Phone House" offering a 40% discount on my mobile package.
Cold-calling scam regarding "financial market investments", likely based overseas as the caller's proferred name did not seem to correlate with their accent. Nervous laughter and unconvincing denial from the caller when accused of being a scammer and asked if they were based in Kolkata. Avoid.
This may be a scam as the caller did not identify themself and just said my credit card has been used for 2 payments, I think £800 and £2000, and to press 1 to talk about it. I ended the call immediately.
