Called me to renew an electricity contract, didn t say a company name despite me asking several times. My best guess is they re a telemarketing company outsourcing leads.

Very muffled call. I knew when I heard the background noise it was PPI so I just played along for a laugh. Claimed it was refund department and I just kept asking which company etc until he hung up in frustration. A good laugh!

This number shows as International and 01274792012... Said it was a quick survey, I asked where they got my details from and they said public source. They knew my name, address, postcode and phone number. Fairly obvious that they are identifying opportunities for onward selling. I think the only reason I have a home phone these days is for junk/spam calls. Another one for the block list.

They called me 3 times a day for a month before I finally decided to answer the phone. I was very polite when they started telling me how they were not trying to lend me money, however they WERE offering a great rate on loans (uuummm???) so I managed to interrupt the lady and said that I was perfectly fine financially and had no need for a loan, and that my phone number must have been sold to them without my permission. She was very sympathetic and even apologised for the call... and then she came in with t

This number have been calling me twice a day, one in the morning another in late afternoon, for the last four days. I have not answered it yet but I am sure it is a sale call.

Some pest on this number called my (pensioner) mother to ask to "call today to see if anything s wrong with the house". Sounded very suspicious to me, like if this con artist was let in the house, he/she would find lots of non-existent faults that d cost a fortune to fix. I would never trust a cold caller doing a random check. This number should be blocked from calling. Why are people getting so many cold calls? Can t these people be found USEFUL EMPLOYMENT?
