Trying to sell warranties on TVs: apparently we have a Samsung CRT in our front room which they d like to protect with a warranty, even though we have insurance and whatnot, and it s about 20 years old. Very difficult to get rid of: had to explain only watch 4hrs TV a week and had three spare TVs in house (also Internet TV) before caller went away.
Call to a mobile from a girl called Maisy claiming that I had been in a car accident, was injured, and it was not my fault. Total rubbish, scam. I suggested that she got a proper job.

PLEASE report this number via the 101 non emergency police number. This is NOT just a nuisance telemarketer but a fraudster trying to get your bank details. Do not even confirm your name. I contacted the police 101 number and they said they had already received complaints about this number. The more complaints they get, the more resources they can get to chase them down. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 3334439xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident claims, insurance management, PPI and pensions - just another call centre. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
