Received call today answered at is was my local area code a male asked to speak to me by my surname when i asked who was calling he said a company name which I couldn't make out clearly 'bright' something. I said if they were selling something I was not interested he said was not selling and they wanted to send me some vouchers !!! This is a firm of surveyors who want to make Rating Appeals. We are registered with TPS and have also asked them to stop making calls - they ignore both facts. They are just like PPI Claims people. Have complained to TPS and to ICO and now to the RICS who are their Professional Body. Their website says they have a 70 seat call centre - so must be making thousands of calls every day.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 16893259xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Pension review company, PPI. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
Unsolicited calls from a holiday insurance claim company that gets it's cold call contact numbers from online directories. We've had between 1 and 3 calls a day for over a week to our main reception. When challenged they simply hang up!
