I got a call today off the same number and can not find anything on them. They asked for someone other then myself and said they had the wrong number and left it at that i rang the number back but it does not get through to anyone and just allows you to remove your number.

These companies that provide numbers in first instance need to be investigated and blocks put in place. I think the UK regulator in the field is failing us as the public. What do they actually do??? I did not reach the phone before my machine kicked in but as soon as my message started the phone call was ended. I do not know anyone in this area but I do know that the scammers are now able to link on to UK landlines to fool you into thinking it is from a UK number.
