ent call which is more worrying than a sales call. I tried to return this call but it was not accessible. The message was that I had rung a wrong number and I. My other phone there was no message just the bleeps to tell you it was not accessible. I won't bother with this I'll ring the police. This is utterly disgraceful and meant to worry the recipient.

Unable to answer the original call a voice message was left to call this number back. The voice message did not state the company involved but required an anti-fraud check. This was a 'genuine' number, but the questions were probing and having given my contact number after questions to verify myself I was asked for the last 4 digits of that contact number already given, there were too many disconnected questions that could be joined up for other fraud. I terminated the call. Supposedly Barclaycard.

SCAM message received 14/02/24 appearing in same text message thread that I receive from Lloyds Bank. It provides a one-time passcode for a purchase that I had not made to FENDI LTD. It tells me to contact them on 03333392763 if I had NOT made the purchase. I did not call them, instead I contacted the fraud dept. of Lloyds Bank. Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past.
