I am getting regular silent calls from this number even though I am registered with the TPS. I have now tracked them down and the number belongs to a supposedly reputable charity fundraising organisation. I say supposedly reputable since no genuinely reputable company would make such a nuisance of themselves, especially on TPS registered numbers. Also called my husband s mobile. Both times they said they were calling about an accident we ve had in the last 3 years but neither of us have. They have also called about ppi in the past. Have told them to remove ny number from their database but i doubt they will.

Scam
SCAM Indian call centre called claiming to be BT and said that my WiFi was being used illegally by other people without my knowledge. They even sent me texts and emails on legitimate BT numbers and email addresses. This is a very clever scam, do not fall for their scam, BT will never ask for access to your PC to 'prevent access to the WiFi' or for any other reason.
