I got called from a man with a strong African Accent claiming to be from the British governments grants dept. Knowing no such dept exists I told him this immediately to which we got into a yes it does no it doesn't pantomime - well it's his phone bill. I am surprised at their tenacity to argue with you even when it's obvious you are not going to bite. I have received many scam calls of late mostly regarding problems with my internet. Just a bit fed up now.

This is an automated voice call that says my Amazon Prime membership will renew for £79.99. Except I don’t have Prime. Contacted Amazon and they said it’s defo not them and to report it. But I am failing to see what the ‘purpose’ of this scam call is since i wasn’t asked for anything? Amazon said they will probably call later and ask for payment.
