Had the same message 5 times this week from different numbers saying I had set up a new payee and to press a link if it was not me they have used the name of 3 different bank non of which are mine

This number called me an hour ago, I called back and an older lady answered (a bit rude one) saying she never called me.
SCAM / SPAM says from HMRC I suspect it's a tax scam
Why did you call and where did you get this number
Call allegedly from HMRC Fraud, saying I have a Fraud case against me and if I didn't press "1" the warrant would be issued. Pressed "1" and got to speak to some Indian guy named Alex Morgan (yeah right!!!) who wanted my personal details to bring up my case file. When I was reluctant, he offered to ring me back on their switchboard number so it would identify as HMRC. He hung up and I never got the call back!!! Seems like a new scam.
