This number called me, I picked up and said nothing and waited for somebody and no one was there - caller hung up after 10 seconds. I'd like to give a tip, if an unknown/suspicious number calls, pick up and stay silent, if there's is a human on the other end 99.9% chance they will speak first however if it's a computer/auto dialer/robo call it will auto hang up and that's just how I roll these days

Said he was from an IT company that I had used recently, when I asked where he got my number from overrode my questions saying he had got it from a database and continued saying I had used one of there services recently. Told him my number was on TPF and he replied not interested and it didn t concern him what I was on. Claims to be calling from the rewards department from an EE call centre in India. Was told I can not call back as their line is only outbound and no web to browse their offers or phones? I was a little suspicions as if they where from EE they would of known not to start selling until my contact was up for renewal in 8months time.

Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 2079460xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with Indian call centre dealing with PPI, accident claims, insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new?
