Got a call from 01224 515928 on my mobile (which is registered with the telephone preference service). There was a lot of background noise typical of a call centre. Caller asked for FirstName. I said have you heard of the telephone preference service. They either didn't hear what I said or ignored it and asked for FirstName again. I said who is calling. Got a call from this number, a prerecorded message saying there was a tax fraud enquiry and asking me to press 1. Assume it's a scam so I hung up
Looks like a local Cranbrook number but is in fact a cold calling from a call centre following up on accidents which in my case were not valid.
....I always leave 0843 numbers to go onto voice mail, if it's important they'll leave a message!
