I ve been advised by a friend who had similar calls that telling him his number has been flagged as a telepest, calls are being monitored and that unsolicited calls are subject to hefty fines gets rid of him pretty darn quick. Have received same call from Indian sounding Gentleman many times on different numbers all reported. Same line every time saying I am calling from BT technical and I must switch on Computer and follow his instructions. I would suggest you will upload remote software for them to hack your passwords etc if you do. I just hang up now.
