It says this is Clearanswer, a marketing company and one of BTs partners.....comments from the general public seem to suggest otherwise. A very foreign voice suggested my BT contract was coming to an end. I don’t discuss new contracts with a cold caller. When I said it wasn’t due to be renegotiated she hung up...not the sort of thing a genuine person would do.
Got an online quote which I rejected as it was exceptionally high. Since then have received silent calls from them even after I called and asked to be removed from their list. Between their pricing and follow up service I would not ever recommend them.

These people are a bloody nuisance.what I do is answer and put the phone up to the radio.
I was called by this number, but I missed the call so I called back. A Lady answered the phone and claimed it was HMRC; she wanted to take my personal details so she could direct my call, however I declined to give my details. Later in the day I received a further call, when I took the call it was a computerised message asking me to contact HMRC on the number 02034671887. I did, a gentleman, I answered, saying HMRC. I asked him what the call was about, he wanted my details which i refused to give.

Call center SPAM Said his name was Alex, however he had a very strong Indian accent. He said that he was phoning from British Gas!? It was about boiler cover, house hold cover for both gas and electric. Asked a couple of questions. He said that he was calling from London, when I asked him what the weather was like in India, and it would be set up today! Pushy mobile phone sales call and would not go away even after I made it clear that I wasn t interested in up-grading or changing contracts. In the end I had to just hang up. These calls are always a worry as they may phone my mum or elderly neighbours.
