Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17845128xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with car accident, injury claims, PPI. Had a call from this number from a man with a welsh accent about Life insurance review and when I said I don't answer any personal questions over the phone unless I have initiated the call and could he take my number off his list the man got really shirty demanding how was anything he asked personal and when I said he would have to ask for personal info to do a review he got worse. This number calls my landline when I have an order to pick up from a Clarks shoe shop. Its always an sms from 00000etc. and quotes the Clarks order reference as a number. Very odd way of doing things but I guess its because I gave them my landline rather than a mobile number.

This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre.
