Called my mobile 15:59hs 24 June 2020: automatic recorded voice announced (sic) "Her Majesty Revenue and Customs" which instantly caused me to terminate. this is VERY clearly a scam call as HMRC would NOT use the incorrect term for their own department!

This is a scam caller pretending to be from a Lyca phone provider offering cheap contracts, the company they are pretending to be are Mobiles.co.uk. They tried offering me a £35 contact for 24 months for a Samsung S23 ultra, which was too good to be true worked out at (£840.00). If the number is blocked some of these calls then get through on an unknown or withheld number. As our doctors and the hospital withhold their numbers and I have someone Ill in my household I just add annoying numbers to my directory under PITA ......aka pain in the a*** or telemarketers. I then have proof of the frequency of calls and I m aware it s them and don t answer the call. Sorry for long explanation but hopefully it might just help someone.
