I only entered the competition for the iPad because it came up on accuweather which I ve been using for a while and is a bona fide site. I then got a message saying I was now entered in a weekly draw for ?4.50 per week. I then received 3 messages which I was charged ?3.83 for. I ve sent a stop message to 88222 as advised but this is a complete con.
Rang me on my mobile number but when I answered they put the phone down. I rang back with no reply so I tried again later from my landline.Guy answered and I explained I had received a call but they had put the phone down.He apologised and asked for my mobile number and when I gave him it he already knew my name so I asked where he got my number from.He said I must have filled something out online (which I haven t), however I did attempt to get a EHIC card but couldn t get onto the system so I had to do it

Didn't identify company but said it was in relation to HMRC R&D tax refund. When questioned admitted he was not HMRC but from a company called Shencoh
it wasn t sufficient to tell them I m not interested last week, they leave a voicemail without any message and when I ask them to delete my details they cut me off. Very rude when I rang back again - will be writing to them. SCAM an extremely rude man who I could not hear properly, don’t know who he was calling from as all he did was lecture me on how to speak on the phone, the only 2 words I heard was Damian and financial, then asked me how I didn’t remember registering, registering for what ??? His voice was breaking up, didn’t hear 1 complete sentence, which I told him and he was very rude, loads of background noise, Hung up on him
My Mum has been getting calls from this number, same as others report, just silent calls. My Mum s number has been registered with TPS for a number of years now, so this should not really be happening. As such, must be treated as highly suspicious.

SCAM call received from this number at 1130 on Mon 19/10/2020 stating “THIS IS A CALL FROM BRITISH TELECOM. YOUR LANDLINE AND INTERNET ARE ABOUT TO BE DISCONNECTED. PLEASE PRESS ONE”. I suspect that this is one of those calls which when you press “1” you will automatically be charged for a premium call. If you receive a call from this number, do NOT press 1 and block the number from your system.

Called me several times with some random sales offers, asking for the removal from their list didn t work so i blocked them. Today I had a voice mail and someone was clearly unhappy with it as the only thing they said before hanging up very quickly was "oh s*it" I am satisfied that for once they got annoyed with me;)
