this is a spam number - company based in Pakistan saying they are working for BT. They are scammer trying to take control of you PC corrupt the files and registrations and then they will charge you sort out the problem to sort out the issue they created. D

Had this number call a few times, yes it's part of Halifax but it's one of many of their areas - it could be birmingham midshires mortgage. It's not a scam. The reason you can't call the number back is it's a number set up not to accept incoming calls - many banks/mortgage companies etc have them now adays. Yes sometimes it's an Asian person, sometimes it's an English person - I'd love to know how you know though that they're muslim! Just because you can't call the numbeer back doesn't = scam. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 13150703xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with investment, shares, online marketing, but also boiler replacement. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? I really don't answer unknown numbers and don't want to call them back...
