Called me then asked how they could help… I said you called me and they responded we are a flight Center can I help with a booking. Told them to fuck right off and hung up. SCAM

Rang today claiming to be from the British Gas metering team. I asked them to prove it by providing my account number. Gave me a string of numbers - not my account number. Foreign accent.

Scammer stating I needed to give them money or a warrant was issued in my name for drug trafficking and fraud offences and I am going to be arrested.

Scam caller claiming to be from Virgin. The call was made by an official sounding call centre (the woman sounded Indian). She claimed that there has been suspicious activity from unknown IP addresses using my account and that it was being used for criminal activity and that she needed to help me protect my firewalls etc. I immediately became suspicious as I'd heard of such calls being made and told her that I'd call Virgin directly to resolve any issues. DANGER ! Definitely Spam. Lady with Indian accent as O2 customer service telling me they had received multiple complaints about signal problem. I said I was satisfied with signal coverage. She then tried to give me a number to call back. I challenged her and told her I thought she not not legit. She started arguing. I said a real customer agent would not argue like that. Put down the phone.

Crazy bloke offering cash for company records. Says I should consider myself a whistleblower as the company is iffys and a duty to help.

I have recieved 2 calls from this number, both times the person reports to be from Amazon Business and seeking that I set up a business account. Amazon have checked this out and its definitely not them, so must therefore be a nuisance or scam. The person calling knows your name.

Called me in Portugal saying I had shown interest in their Swiss finance company. I asked where they got my number they said I had given it to them. I said I had not and they got cross with me saying where did they get the number from then?

They were asking for 1 minute to answer personal questions then said they would hang up and call back 20 seconds later

Automated voice says a large charge made against our Visa card… We don’t have a Visa card, so it’s a scam call.

Clearly fraudsters trying to get money on basis of '' your bank / credit card has been used for a non authorised payment of £1100'' and encouragement to press option 1 to resolve the issue.

HMRC SCAM 07477 169835 - Just received a call from this number purporting to be from HMRC about a letter being returned and threatening legal action and to press One to speak to an officer. Recorded voice message was a female with American accent.

Got cold called from this number twice. Caller claimed to be from a security company and asked whether I was ever scammed. When I told him I didn't know him or his company and did not feel comfortable answering any questions, he called me a 'f*cking wh*re' and hung up.

Automated message from a company whos name I couldn't make out - telling me that my monthly subscription couldn't be taken from my account and to press 1 to discuss the matter. Reading tel number (01189 664419)- I don't have any monthly subscriptions! SCAMMER!!!!!!

SCAM Indian sounding lady, rang twice this week saying they were from BT openreach that there had been a security breach on my internet line trying to hack my broadband, she couldnt tell me any details, so assuming this was a scam I said its fine theres nothing on my laptop for hackers to get, she then wanted my mobile phone details to show me what was happening, I then told her I didn't bring my phone to work and she got angry and said fine if you dont want to protect your line then hung up !!

My mother has been contacted many times on this and other phone numbers. The message, from the caller is always the same, she tells my mother, first in English and then in Chinese that she has a package waiting for her, to collect from the Chinese embassy. This is clearly a scam call.
