It is a survey company. Indian man called me asking if I would take part in a 5 minute survey. I replied that I had no time and he just told me goodbye. I decided to block the number then.
On answering phone, caller launches into a pre-recorded talk. Doesn t respond to "Hello, who s calling?". very rude. Had this twice this week. Replaced receiver both times.1471 told me it was 01600469009

I only use this number for comparethemarket, that's where he has got it from. I would say it's British Gas database as that's what I was looking to change to. Original call number came in as V21309255500012, when picked up and answered, no response, just silence. After hanging up, hit CID button (caller ID) and the new number was revealed as 1-778-555-0161, a number from British Vancouver.

My laptop locked when I pressed a link, it stated my IP address was compromised and gave me this number to ring Microsoft. I called it was not professional I knew something was up do not follow their instructions. Close and restart your PC

Claimed to be from BT Outreach, telling me that my internet was slow. She asked me to check my internet speed. I asked her how, and she then started asking about my device. At that point, I told her that I had not had breakfast yet, didn't have my glasses on, and that another time might be a better time. I was fairly polite. Of course I did not believe that she was from BT.

My phone filters all calls through call blocker where they have to announce who they before we accept or other actions. This number just hung up even before the screening process so highly suspicious.
