Contacted me pretending to be my child who had lost her phone, asked me to what’s app her on another number then asked me to pay some bills for her.
This number has called me several times in the past few days & 3 times today alone. I do not answer unsolicited calls & NEVER give ANY personal information over the phone, not to even confirm my name. I suspect this is an automated dialer & more than likely a scam. I am going to block this number. Job done.

Pretended to be from D&G home-appliance insurance. After the spiel he asked for our bank details and said it was impossible to send documentation through the post. I would guess that many people have been taken in by this.
My number on contract with o2 taken over by fraudster. O2 cancelled the number but it has been used in attempts to access my credit cards. Also possibly being used as a debit card app. number. Police and Action Fraud are aware.

Claimed to be from O2 and that I was overpaying for my O2 account (I don't use O2). Told me they would offer me a discount with no other changes to be made. SCAM - caller claimed to be from British Gas wanting to book me in for a boiler service. She didn't ask for anyone here by name so I didn't engage, just ended the call & blocked the number. I rang British Gas using the genuine number from their website - they confirmed that no-one's called me today.

I have just received a call from this number from someone saying they were from vodaphone and that I was to be offered a new handset. I did not listen to the rest of the story as i suspect it was a scam. I cut the call and checked the number immediately. It appears not to be listed as a scam number but beware.
