I have also been scammed by these guys and I am furious! I have reported them to Action Fraud, but called my bank and they said there was nothing they could do to get m money back. Is it still worth calling trading standards?

SCAM Calling and avise there was a problem with our electric meter. Something to do with getting the meter point reference mixed up. Wanting to confirm our meter point reference number. This call sounded dodgy. The caller was not from our Electric Supplier.

A very polite girl called today and told me the company name and phone number (the second time I asked). They are Solar Therm, based in Basildon, seem genuine (I ve just been onto their website) but since I never deal with companies who cold call me on my TPS registered number, they are on a loser. I will now report them to the TPS who will smack their wrists!

03330 302091 Received call 20.23 Wednesday 23/9/2020 to an EX Directory BT landline. Phone rang I picked it up & didn’t answer – they hung up. It appears that this number has been targeting Bournemouth, Manchester, London, Stirling and York. The No. hails from Northeast France and using Manchester as the UK hopping point.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. I told them I was on Grain, and then they just imediately hung up. Obvious fraud scam.

SCAM Claims they are Resolvcall and need to speak to me "urgently". Haven't a clue why they're phoning but they phone constantly. Have now ended up having to block their calls and texts. Fraud. Recorded voice claimed to be Amazon Prime and said I had been charged 79.99 and if that wasn't me to press 1 on my phone keypad. As Prime is actually £79 for a year, I terminated the call and blocked the number.
