The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.

Tried to convince me that they were from Sky and that my Internet speed wasn't appropriate. Then told me to download and app which gives them remote access to me phone. When I refused they told me I needed to pay them for the service they have just given me. Nice try!
SPAM The number seems completely bogus because they called me, and I tried calling them back twice or a number of times first of all withholding my number, and then I tried it from a regular number showing it, and there was no answer either. It just said the number was unavailable. So I suspect this is totally bogus. Very annoying because I've been getting quite a few spam calls lately and they are all blocked. This number called and asked for me by my first name. When I asked who was calling he hung up. I have blocked this number- definitely dodgy if he won’t say who he is and why he is calling.

I was called at 12:30 while eating my lunch, it was a woman saying she was an energy advisor in my area. When I said "sorry what company are you from", she rudely hung up! Obviously a fraud as I live near ther south coast not in the area of Blackburn.

Automated call two consecutive evenings around 7pm. Heavily accented voice - could not understand exactly but think he mentioned consolidating debt.
I'm in the north of England and do not know anybody from Wales so must be a scam call.
Well spoken female called back after getting cut off. Said they checked my fuse box ten years ago and wanted to do another free check. Asked me to go to the fuse box. I said it was difficult to reach and it was a consumer unit with circuit breakers. She said in that case no need for a check. Obviously if they'd checked ten years ago they would know what equipment I had. Why I continued to engage with her was we had circuit breakers changed by the makers of the consumer unit as they had found quality issues.
Received a call 14th Feb 2023. It showed up as suspected spam but call ended quickly whilst I was still thinking about whether to answer. Probably was company offering to get us money back for timeshare purchase. A recent call also showed as suspected spam turned out to be from garage confirming my appointment with them.

An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? Got a call proclaiming to be O2 offering 30% discount on phone bill free of charge for loyalty. The contract mentioned is 2 weeks old and I haven't paid a bill yet! I ended the call as soon as I could, if it's genuine I would have expected a text from O2 or an email.
