I lady called me saying she had frozen a transaction from going to a offshore account in China. The currency was bitcoin. This was odd as these transactions go to a bit coin wallet then to a debit card that is registered on your account. She did no DPA to verify that I was the account holder. Then she wanted me to download a app I refused so she asked if I have a pc or laptop. I said pc she wanted to screen share. I would do no such things I told her then hug up.

This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. They were convincing, and said if I don’t give them answers to the security questions then they can’t block the payments. They keep changing numbers but it is the same network of people - they are using different numbers to call - I have already blocked at least 10 other numbers they have used to contact me- stay well clear of them please!!
