SCAM This number came up as 00 44 1461 280025 which is Gretna in Scotland. I live in the UK so should have come up as 01461 280025. Answered called to an Asian man telling me that he hadn't called me as he was busy with his sister's wedding [apt Gretna Green] Rang the number myself and it was for Housing Disrepair Team. May be legitimate but with what I heard on the phone and the number showing as 00 44 I hung up and blocked the number. Be careful.

I've worked in customer service multiple times, one thing I've been told which is common sense is not to spam our customers with calls, maximum I'd call is 2 times for a single customer then stop. Whoever's number this is has been calling everyday for the past few weeks which is 100% a scam. SCAM Said they were O2. Very convincing. Sent an OTP, like a fool, I gave it to them. By the time their call ended, and I got through to O2 (max 10 minutes), they’d already changed my email and postal addresses. O2 tell me the only time they will ask for the OTP is when a customer calls them. Looks like I stopped them in time, all details now changed, and security info changed, but be careful people. I’m a cautious type, but they fooled me
This number is no longer J A Winward and Sons - Scientific Glassware. My dad was one of the "sons", (J A Winward was my grandad)... I don't know who is using the phone number now, but the premises is now an art studio called Red Door and they might still have the same phone number?
