Call center. bizarrely number showed as Waggon and Horses garage- curious I answered. Lady said she is called Nia/ Neeya? Wanted my name- not given. Said she was calling about by financial investments. Obvs a load of rubbish so hung up.

Fraud Call centre, pretend to be "running security" for Virgin Broadband, call to say they have "seen problems on the line". When I told them I wasn't on Virgin, they waffle on about how they do the security for all broadband suppliers, because Virgin supplies the lines for them all. I told them I was on Grain, and then they just imediately hung up. Obvious fraud scam.

SCAM -Amy, from Microsoft Corporation (yeah, right!), has been receiving reports that my computer has been hacked, gave me a 32 digit licence number (I thought it should be 25) and wanted to help me check it on the computer. When I refused to turn the computer on, she said that I would have to go to their HQ in Reading in the next 3 days, but when I asked how to contact her she hung up. Strange, that!
