Got a call from 01224 515928 on my mobile (which is registered with the telephone preference service). There was a lot of background noise typical of a call centre. Caller asked for FirstName. I said have you heard of the telephone preference service. They either didn't hear what I said or ignored it and asked for FirstName again. I said who is calling. Bogus call saying I'd won something 'special' if I answered a short survey.
Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!
