Received a call from this number claiming to be Microsoft saying that they've detected a problem with my computer and asked if I can switch on my computer. I refused and challenged them; caller eventually put me onto their "supervisor" and he asked me if I understood the nature of this call from Microsoft today but I told him that I didn't believe he was and he said "OK then f**k off" and I replied "Likewise" and hung up. SCAM Got a call claiming to be from Mastercard & Visa. Apparently I had made a payment of £600 to a foreign country. Hung up there. I don't have £600, so I don't think I'd be making such a payment. SCAM!

I never answer the landline (to avoid giving scammers/spammers the knowledge that my landline is a valid number). I researched the number but could not find a legitimate index entry, so I conclude it is a scam and not to be trusted at all. Potentially dangerous. Calling alleging they're from Currys PC World then mentioning my mobile phone provider and talking about new deals on handsets. Doesn't make any sense at all and totally trying to scam me.

I got a call from this number today, 06/03/2023, from someone claiming to be from Vodafone, I was offered a 20% discount for the last 12 months of my contract. When they asked for my name and address I ended the call. They had a strong Indian accent. I contacted Vodafone who confirmed is was a fraud.
