Suspicious because the speaker sounded Indian or Asian and wanted to access my computer to ascertain its security. Said they were from TomTom but I felt very uneasy.
Someone speaking an Asian language called at 8am. When he realised I had answered he switched to English to tell me my broadband had been hacked. Asked the name of his firm - BT. Told him I would deal with it and hung up. Rang BT but the number was not theirs! how surprising. Number now blocked.
Got a WhatsApp message from this number asking if I was working today. WhatsApp shows it as a business number and with the name Angela! I suspect it's an attempted Fraud, but really not sure.
This number does not officially exist. Codes starting 02037 are usually connected with scam calls - beware!!!

Ok seems like this number has called people starting on 23March 2023. As do not no anyone in Dagestan or Russia for that matter i did not answer. They left no voicemail as regards why they phoned so treating it as a scam and blocked it.

Hello, difficult to understand caller as English wasn't good. Wanted to sell me life insurance and wanted me to answer questions. Unwilling to do so. My impression it is a scam. This number called my house phone, said her name was Alison (she had a very strong Asian accent and call centre noises could be heard) and she was calling from BT open reach about my server wasn't reaching the full fibre speed, when I questioned why this was any of BT's business (my fibre is with someone else) she paused in the script it was obvious she was reading and then carried on, I then said her why she was giving me this spiel and why was it BT's problem, she then hung up.
